Ingredients

  • 250ml milk
  • 75g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 slices rustic bread

Preparation

Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl, add the milk and sugar. Soak the 4cm thick slices of rustic bread in the mixture.

When the pan is hot, place the slices of bread on it, with a knob of butter underneath and on top of each slice.

Leave to cook in the pan for 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
